Former All Hallows student, Leon Campbell has been nominated for a BAFTA!

Leon, who is Executive Producer of the popular Channel 4 programme Gogglebox, received the news on his birthday – a double celebration!Unfortunately, the awards ceremony this year won’t take place this year,but Leon is no stranger to this level of success, having been part of the show’s BAFTA award winning team for several years.As a member of the Class of ’92, Leon left All Hallows to study Political Science at Birmingham University before moving to London and starting his career in the media as a runner for a small TV production company.Leon has since produced programmes for all the major channels and in all the main genres;Children’s, Entertainment, Features, including Big Brother, X Factor, Take Me Out, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, The Restaurant, and Gogglebox. He has also created and produced major entertainment events for The O2 in Greenwich and was the producer of the Closing Ceremony for the Paralympics with Coldplay at London 2012.When interviewed in 2018 for the All Hallow’s magazine Aspire, he said, ‘All Hallows gave me the confidence to ignore the regular and expected, and follow my dreams to get where I wanted to be.’We wish him luck in the upcoming awards.
