The Ward Library is home to over 6,000 items including books and some media items that support learning across the curriculum as well as provide interesting material for reading for pleasure. We also have a dedicated team of student librarians who help out with issuing and returning books, as well processing new stock.  Please ask if you are interested in volunteering for duty!

Fiction​

The library stocks a wide range of fiction books for students in Years 7-13. Books are categorised under genre and age range so everyone can easily find something suitable to read! We also supply a number of books on CD and books for students with additional learning needs (EG larger print, coloured pages) to make texts more accessible.

Non-Fiction​

We also stock reference books and non-fiction books for all of the subjects in our curriculum, from KS3 to KS5. Many books in our library have been selected by our teaching staff so they are up to date and relevant to the subjects taught in school.

On the Windows

For our 6th form students, as well as a dedicated book section, we have a number of online resources to support our students with their both classwork, coursework, wider reading, revision and the EPQ qualification.
