Pastoral Support & Safeguarding

Dear Students 

 

The following staff at All Hallows Catholic College have completed the Level 2 NACHE Award in Understanding Young People's and Children's Mental Health and they are all willing and able to help support any student in times of need. Please go and see them for a chat or arrange through your Year Learning Leader to see one of them.

We also have a team of staff who have completed training by Safer Streets on tackling sexual harassment and not being a bystander to it. These staff include Mr Blades (Senior Leadership Team), Mrs Garvey (SLT), Ms Wood (SLT), Mr Larvin (Pastoral Intervention Lead), Mr Grimshaw (Pastoral Support Manager), Miss Taylor (PSM), Mrs Lewis (Year Learning Leader), Mrs Williams (Attendance), Miss Thomason (Physical Education staff),  Miss Cooke (Teaching Assistant), Mrs Waite (TA), Miss Godfrey (TA), and other staff are being trained in the future. 

We also have website support for students to use if required. These are read by a senior teacher who will reply. 

 

Wellbeing Hub | All Hallows College

We are proud to have many staff who are Level 3 Safeguarding trained here in college in June 2023. All of these staff will be able to help and support our students. These staff include: Mr Beesley (Senior Leadership Team and Principal), Mrs Garvey (SLT, Deputy Principal and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead), Mr Blades (SLT, Sexual Misconduct Liaison Officer and Designated Safeguarding Lead), Mrs Clements (Family Support Worker and Deputy DSL), Miss Cook (SLT SEND and Inclusion Lead), Mr Larvin (Pastoral Intervention Lead), Ms Wood (SLT Attendance Lead), Mr Grimshaw (Pastoral Support Manager), Mrs Lewis (Year Leader and teacher in charge of the Anti Bullying Ambassadors) Ms Feely (Year Leader), Mr Howells (Head of Sixth Form) and subject teachers, including Miss Johnston, Ms Elliott and Mr Farthing. All other staff here in college are at least trained to Level 1 Safeguarding. 

 

Our CAREERS ADVISOR, COUNSELLORS and COLLEGE NURSE attend college regularly. Appointments can be made by seeing your Year Learning Leader. 

The first point of contact is usually your Form Tutor if you have a worry or concern. After that the Year Learning Leader or Pastoral Support Managers should be seen and then Senior Leaders.
