Day Four
Another fantastic day here in Italy, with students up bright and breezy once again! After a 7:00am breakfast, we departed at 8:00am for the slopes, ready for another full day of skiing.
Today we travelled to Latemar, Pampeago, where students experienced a new range of slopes and challenges. The weather was noticeably cooler than yesterday, with a strong breeze adding an extra level of difficulty—but this didn’t stop the excellent progress being made across all groups.
The focus this morning was all about progression. Students were split into smaller, closely matched ability groups, allowing for more targeted coaching and faster development. Impressively, all groups moved off the beginner slopes and onto the mountain.
Group 1 headed straight for the snow park and ski cross course, where they enjoyed tackling jumps and gaining confidence on the fast-paced ski cross track. Groups 2 and 3 focused on refining their technique, practising turns and developing parallel skiing on the blue and red slopes, all in preparation for the upcoming races. Meanwhile, Groups 4 and 5 worked hard on their control and turns through the slalom—making incredible progress in just 24 hours.
Lunch was enjoyed at 11:30am on the mountain, with pizza and chips providing a well-earned energy boost. The afternoon was spent consolidating the skills learned in the morning, and it was fantastic to see just how much confidence and ability had grown throughout the day.
There were plenty of smiling faces at the end of skiing—clear evidence of the hard work and achievements of all students.
This evening, we are heading out to a local pizza restaurant for a well-deserved meal before getting some rest, ready for the halfway point of skiing tomorrow.
Another brilliant day on the slopes!
